Monday was the last ballet lesson of the term, which meant that it was watching day!!! Yeah!! Every second week when I do the lifting to ballet, I get to see the last 5 minutes of the lesson…and it is too cute!! To see those 5 year old little girls twirling and whirling, bobbing and prancing, pointing toes, lifting arms…all this under the imaginative fairy stories that Maria make up for them is so delightful that I couldn’t wait to sit and watch for the whole lesson!

Because pictures are worth much more than any prose and poetry…

Always start with a group fairy hug…

You must notice how Léa and Kiera are always next to each other 😉

Fairy jumps… Those pics are actually funny. Léa looks supernaturally levitated!

Katie looks like this tiny beautiful doll – she’s not five yet!

It’s only once a term that I get to enjoy my little ballerina. It was very special, and Léa loved the fact that I got to stay for the WHOLE time!

Man this is cute. I’m so glad I have a wife who enjoys taking pictures and who likes maintaining a blog to keep these memories. Imagine when we’re old and grey (for those with hair)how much fun we’ll have looking at these posts.

I love it! ALMOST as fun as watching it for real. That pic of Lea where everything else is a blur around her while she is mostly in focus is awesome. I love it – seems like she is in her own world, moving at her own pace while the rest of the world hurries past. Soooo cool! Thanks for posting these – I may steal some for a “life of late” post on our blog 😉 – Love T (K & K’s mom for those wondering what on earth I’d want to steal these pics for!)
